For this remediation project, Encorp begun with repairs to the slab surrounding the northeastern external brick column, addressing visible cracking with precision, utilizing advanced repair methods to restore the column’s stability and prevent further deterioration. By reinforcing the surrounding slab, Encorp bolstered the structural integrity of this essential support, ensuring lasting resilience.

In Units 1 and 3, our team undertook a full replacement of sunroom framing on both levels, encompassing the eastern side and the first bay on the northern side. This comprehensive replacement involved the use of durable materials designed for maximum weather resistance and structural support. The new framing provides a strong foundation for the sunroom spaces, enhancing both functionality and aesthetic continuity with the existing architecture.

The replacement of the external eastern concrete stairs was completed to exacting standards, utilizing reinforced concrete and precise construction methods to deliver a durable, slip-resistant staircase that aligns with the building’s aesthetic. This new structure not only enhances accessibility but also ensures safety and longevity in this heavily trafficked area.

For the southern entry concrete stairs, both the eastern and western directions received targeted repairs. We meticulously addressed any deterioration, fortifying the steps and restoring their structural integrity. This detailed work has revitalized the entryways, ensuring they remain safe and reliable access points for years to come.

Additionally, a new stainless-steel handrail was installed on the western side of the southern entry stairs. This high- quality, corrosion-resistant handrail enhances safety, providing secure support for users while complementing the building’s exterior with a modern, durable finish.

Finally, on the eastern side, our team propped up, removed, and replaced a rotten timber beam with a new, treated timber beam. This replacement involved carefully supporting the structure during removal and ensuring that the new beam was securely installed. The new timber beam enhances structural integrity while seamlessly integrating with the existing framework, preventing future decay and supporting long-term durability.
